It's All Fun And Games...

Until someone gets hurt... but that's the best part, right? Right! So Alex J. Cavanaugh is hosting his "It's All Fun & Games" blogfest and it kicks off today!
So the point of this is to name three games you like to play the most. Any kind of game whether it be an RPG (Role Playing Game), video game, board game. Whatever!

Before I tell you mine, I will tell you my nephew's (I am visitng this weekend). His favorite 3 are Little Big Planet, Basketball and Mod Nation. He's a very cool kid. Best dribbler I know!

Okay on to my favorite 3:

Cosrin would have to be at the top of my list. It is a text based role playing game. You've all heard me reference it before. It is the inspiration for my writing, of course.

Second would have to be.... World of Warcraft. I have to say, it is still a cool game even if I do get bored with it once in awhile. Don't like to play it tooooo much, but yeah. Hehe!

Third on my list at the moment would be... pool. I love to shoot pool.

And that is it for this Monday. I will have three more ready next week! Want to participate? Go over to Alex's blog (link at the top) and join!

Have a great week!

Great choices! I used to be quite good at pool but haven't played in years. Fond memories!

WoW is very popular! And remember how all role playing games on the computer were text-based?
Thanks for participating in the blogfest!

I used to play pool when I was little. We lived by a bar that had a pool table and arcade games so my siblings and I would ride our bikes down there and waste quarters.

Also, I love Little Big Planet, I have a sackboy sitting next to my computer.

I'm a bit of a pool shark because it's the one sport I can play where I'm able to switch hands and play ambidextrously.

Haven't done the first two, but I LOVE to play pool! I was a bit of a shark in jr./highschool...we'd play up at the college...with college guys. Good times ~ ;)

World of Warcraft is the game of choice today. I've got to check it out. I'm a new follower from Alex's blogfest.

Second time I've come across a text-based RPG! I've never played one.

You know, Cosrin is still around. I may even jump back in there to play because I know the game even better than I know WoW. lol! Doesn't say much for me, does it? But everyone who used to play has gotten back in touch on FaceBook, so we're all sort of reconnecting again. I like WoW, but I get bored with it. I like role playing, it triggers my creativity.
And pool! I love pool, used to play/hustle with my sister. hehe. Thanks for all the comments everyone and welcome to my new followers!

I haven't played pool in too long. That is a fun game. Nice meeting you.

Who could turn down a great game of pool. I'm going to have to look into Cosrin.

Ah, yes. I love me a good game of billiards. If only I were halfway decent at it.

Never heard of Cosrin. Humm...might have to do a drive-by on that one.

We're getting a pool table for the basement - it should be delivered in a couple more weeks. Can't wait!

Yay for text-based roleplaying & MMORPGs! :-)

(btw: the verification word for this post is 'abysible'. Shouldn't that be: 'abyssible' and: coincidence? I think not!)

I love shooting pool, too! I can't believe I didn't think of that one for one of my favorites!

Mel Chesley said...

@ K. C. Haha! No, I don't think that is coincidence!

@Jeffrey Yeah, I really had to think about it. But where I worked this past year had a pool table and I thought, you know I really loved playing. :D

Yay for shooting pool - a great game of strategy, fine motor control, and geometry. :)

Thanks for sharing.

Love Blog Fests! Here I am in Australia commenting on a blog in Alaska. So love technology! Love pool too but the other two are new to me. Great to meet you. You'd laugh - we're all cold today - it's winter here and only heading to about 19 degrees C. (Yes I know - that's not cold!)

Great to meet you as well Cheryl! I love technology as well, it is awesome to think you're in Australia, it is winter (yes it is cold lol) and you are chatting with someone who waves at moose. :D

Kelworthfiles, I agree, great game of skill. I am not good at math, but I am good at angles.
