Yep, you read that right. I couldn't believe it when I saw it, either.
I first saw it on Facebook, then here at this blog. And this article here.
Most of you know my history with these bast... er, people. Company. Whatever...
Not quite sure how I feel about it all yet. I have contacted the law firm and made some inquiries. We'll see what comes of it. I'll keep you all posted in the meantime.
Sorry to drag you away from today's topic. You can go back to it here! Have a great day!
**EDIT**: Here's a link to the form, on the off chance you have a contract with Publish America.

Wow, that's heavy. Hopefully a few more authors join Berman so they have more weight to their case.

Tossing It Out
Well, I know quite a few PA authors. Some of them knew what they were getting into, others didn't. I did my part and told the ones who were scammed like myself. All we can do now is wait.
I didn't here about it, thank you for informing me.
I'm surprised it's taken this long. No one has a longer bad rap sheet on Preditors and Editors than Publish America.
Absolutely, I'm always happy to share information!
I'm not surprised it has taken this long. Lots of people are ashamed to admit when they fall victim to a scam like this. Especially if that scam is going to reflect at all on their reputation, such as a writer. How many people do you think are going to take people like me who fell for the scam seriously?
But I admit to falling for it, fighting against it and trying to put it behind me as lesson learned, but others can't do that.
