NEW Friday Favorites, Fantasy Art & A Funny...

That's right, a bit of a change up to the favorites part of this blog post. I've been reading a lot lately, mostly for reviews. I'm finding some new favorite authors. So in line with the #FF (Follow Friday) done on Twitter, I'll hook you up with some new people I'm meeting.

First new author friend I want to share: Anita Dawn Stewart. Now, I haven't read her book yet. It's on my list when I am done reviewing. (Changes to my reviews as well, I'll post that later.) But she's become a great friend and a great source for me. She lives in the UK and she's pretty cool.

You can find her here: Her website, her book, her Facebook page, her Twitter: @AncientBreeds.

So there is my first favorite new author friend.

Fantasy Art:

I got this for wallpaper the other day. I love it. :D

And of course, the funny:

Ha! Have a great weekend everyone!

LOL, that Star Wars pic is hilarious. Reminds me of Space Balls when they make them headphones.

I do like the fantasy artwork a great deal, but I'm not overly excited about fantasy literature or films. I guess I just haven't read enough good fantasy books or seen the right movies. But the artwork is sometimes very cool.

Star wars hair is always pretty weird - I guess she inherited her funky hair fashion from her mother! :)And I love fantasy art, it's so inspiring. That's a great one. :)

@ Alex ~ I know, right? lol

@ Hannah ~ I loved Space Balls, great movie.

@ Arlee ~ Fantasy isn't for everyone, but it is a love of mine. I don't get mad because someone doesn't like the genre. I read lots of other stuff as well, though, so there is always common ground!

@ Bethany ~ I agree, Star Wars hair is always a great topic. Padme started it all. lol!

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. :D

Hah!
In getting your information you posted Anita's, cool. My daughter worked on the book cover today so it will be available soon but she may have to tweak it when it's live again. I must read Anita too.

Hi Mel,

As promised, I have returned to leave another comment. You might recall you left a comment on my site.

I think it's very good to share info on your author friend, Anita and I will duly check that out.

I like a bit of fantasy art. Or, I can just stare at myself in my full-length mirror.

Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar can make her ears curl up and she looks just like princess Leia's hairstyle :)

Have a good week and happy writing.

In kindness and goodwill,

Gary

Lol, Jamie!

I got your other message too, Nancy. Can't wait to see the cover!

I love Star Wars as well, Allison, but the pics I find are quite funny and I just have to share.

Klahanie, I think I'd like to see Penny in a Cinnabun hairdo. It'd be awful cute. :D

Hey Mel,

This is not self-pawmoting, as Penny might say, but if you look at this link, you can see Penny in her um "Cinnabun hairdo". And her ears went naturally like that, we didn't touch them.
