Glad You Are Here...

I am always very thankful for this blogging community I am blessed to be a part of even if I don't voice it as often as I should. I do want to thank all of you and sometimes it just doesn't seem to be enough to just say it. So while I am baking down in Arizona, I'll be looking for some cool little things for prizes and have a Give-Away when I return. Woot!

Now since you are here, I have to ask: Where do I get Beta Readers and does anyone want to be one?

I'll be checking my email as often as I can. I don't want to let it get so bogged down that it takes me hours to filter through it all. That's just no fun. So if you want to help me or know where I can look, either comment here or email me at: Paridzule(dot)Keep(at)gmail(dot)com.

I'd also be interested in doing reviews. You can send me information there about those as well.

Have a great week everyone!

Hey Mel! You do what you just did - put out a call for critique partners. I did that on my blog and was overwhelmed with offers. Settled on three partners and they're all awesome.
Want me to mention that you're looking for critique partners this Friday in my post?

Good idea to give a call out on here; you'll get a damn good response :D

I'm gonna copy Alex's idea too and give it a mention on my next news post :D

what are the deets regarding your MS? Do you need a heavy, line by line, crit? Or just someone to read and comment on the overall MS? Also, how long is it (I assume it's fantasy) and when would you need it back by?

Depending on your answers, i may be able to Beta for you.

I'll throw up a link for you on my blog as well, to try and entice more betas for you

Adventures in Children's Publishing sums up my thoughts on this better than I can:

Once you have an idea of what areas you really want to attract a beta reader for, you can post again with your query/pitch. : )

Hi Mel,

I've had a lot of luck getting readers using www.critters.org. Good luck!
