Two Word Tuesday...

I was on Facebook and Writing.com posted up a blurb: "Two word Tuesday. In two words describe the status of your muse."

One person responded with "On task."

I responded with "On strike."

I may have stated that revising has become the bane of my existence. Well, now I have to REVISE that statement...

I like revising, I hate queries. Only because it is so difficult at the moment. Like revising, I had never had the tools and skills to do what needs to be done, so I hated it. Now my attention has shifted to queries and my cross-hairs have followed. I'm finding the resources I need, just like I did with revisions and the like. It may become easier in time, but at the moment, it's making me grind my teeth.

Next will be writing the synopsis. That should be interesting. I'm the kind of writer that writes first and does the synopsis later. I need to do the synopsis first, then tweak it as needed.

But the best news of all: I got my 200th follower!! Give me a Woot! Thanks for following me, I love hearing all of your comments and if you just drop by and lurk, that's okay too. Have a great rest of the week!!

Lol Christina! Yeah it does, but it sort of makes me feel like the kind of people who pop on over to your place just to "hang out" and not really do much. Maybe play video games and eat all my snacks, but they're still welcome just the same. ;)

Woot! Woot! One for each 100 followers.

That dastardly query. Aw, my time with that villian is not near but darned if I wish I could just avoid it altogether, you know, walk up to the agent, smack my MS down and just declare, "Perfect-agent-for-me, you WILL rep this book and LOVE it!"

OMG yes! I agree, that would be the best way to get your work out there. lol! But, I suppose it is the hard work and suffering that makes or breaks us. If we all gave up at the query, no one would be published. ;)
